Community Advocacy Program
The Community Advocacy Program is managed by Living Legacy. The goal of this program is to provide donor family members, transplant recipients, waiting list patients, living donors, and interested community members the opportunity to actively promote the life-saving power of donation and transplantation.
Advocates work to educate the community on how organ, eye, and tissue donation can be a bridge between the loss of life and the gift of life.
The community advocate program offers an array of volunteer opportunities for both short-term and on-going involvement. Here are a few examples:
- Community Speaker
- High School Education Speaker
- Informational Booths
- Office Assistant
- Fundraising Events
